e76 - People Philosophy

About e76's People Philosophy and our mission to build hell on earth for mediocracy:

The ambition is not to be the best—a fragile title defined by comparison and inevitably lost. Our purpose is to become the standard by which all others are measured. This dictates our search for talent. We are not impressed by résumés, the static ledger of past accomplishments. We seek something far more vital: the derivative of a mind. We measure the rate of its learning, the velocity of its adaptation, the sheer intellectual force it applies to new domains. Our interview is therefore a diagnostic, an exposure to problems at the very limit of solvability. We observe for the purity of the problem-solving process—the elegance in deconstruction, the clarity of first-principles thinking, the unyielding refusal to accept a superficial solution.

To be chosen is to enter an environment of total accountability. Ownership is absolute. It is not a portion of a task, but the entire intellectual and operational territory of a problem. You are responsible for its foundations, its execution, and its ultimate consequence. There is no one to blame, no process to hide behind. The work is a direct reflection of your own standard, and that standard must be immaculate.

Growth in this ecosystem is a property of the environment itself. We engineer an extreme density of talent and subject it to challenges of immense weight. The pressure is the point. It forces adaptation, compresses timelines, and makes profound learning the only path to survival. We are interested in the trajectory of one's life's work. The goal is to build masters of the craft, individuals whose work is so singular and impactful that it creates its own category. We exist to find the absolute limit of what is possible in our domain, and we seek only those who find that mission to be the only one that matters.
